Comforting Words

A few words of hope

My mum was in hospital and we were all worried, I had contacted the church and have her name placed on the healing list, I felt useless as her life hung in the balance,that night when I went to bed I eventualy fell asleep, and had a dream. In my dream mum and I were going through a very dark scary wood, I held her hand as we went and knew I had to hold on to her there were times when it was just our finger tips touching, and I kept saying hold on to me mum you will be ok, everywhere we turned there were obstacles. however all of a sudden there was a beautiful clearing, the trees formed a circle and the sun was streaming down,in the centre of the circle was a golden lion and my hubby said I sat bolt upright in bed and sang; The lions of Juda shall break every chain and bring us the victory again and again. That day I went to the hospital .mum was asleep so I had a word with the staff nurse and was told she had gone through a crisis and come out the other side. mum woke as I sat by her bed, looked at me and said " how good of you to sit here all night holding my hand I couldnt have got through last night without your help, each time I felt couldnt go on you told me to hang on together, we could do it"

The power of spirit is a wonderful thing was it a dream or was my spirirt transported to my mum's bedside.
